This is a casting of an original Gorilla
sculpture I sculpted in 2011. The sculpture captures the
essence of a silver back Gorilla, their gentle nature but also
at the same time their impressive power and presence. When you
look in to the eyes of this sculpture you can almost see the
Gorilla thinking, this is what I try to achieve with all my
sculptures as I like to get a feeling of presence from
them.
The
sculpture is cast using an extremely hard resin like material
and it is then hand painted to look very
realistic!
